Our First Christmas

Mommy and Daddy have been talking to us about Christmas for a long time but we didn't really know what it was going to be like. Turns out it's awesome! On Christmas Eve we went to Mimi and Popi's house to celebrate with everyone. We had gone shopping with Mommy A LOT of times before this (we were really sick of shopping) so we were excited to give everyone the gifts we picked out for them. Everyone had presents for us too! It was so fun to open them and play with the wrapping paper.

Mimi and Popi bought us a wagon! We can't wait to try it out.

We got to stay all the way until bed time, so Mommy fed us our food there. We didn't have our chairs so Mimi and Popi held us while we ate.

We took a bath with our cousin Jonah. We liked baths when we used to take them in our small blue tub, but now we LOVE bath time. We could stay in there all night just splashing and playing. I (Jack) ended up in the middle so I got splashed in the face a lot, but I'm tough so I didn't care.

When we woke up on Christmas morning, there were presents in our stockings! This is what Santa brought us. Our cousin Caiden recommended these books to Mommy. They are some of his favorites so Mommy thought we would like them. They're so funny! We also got some cool cars, new bibs (we drool a lot), and a toy that has animals that pop up when you push the buttons.

This is my Jack in the Box. He surprises me every time and he has my name!

Grandma and Papa sent these phones all the way from Minnesota. Now we have smart phones just like Mommy and Daddy. (Don't worry ladies, we'll post our phone numbers later)

Because it was a special day, we didn't have to take our morning nap. We got dressed and went straight to Nani and Gumpy's house.
I was tired because I didn't take my morning nap. :)

We love our Nani!

We went to Aunt Lisa's after Nani's house.

We got some really cool p.j.'s.

Our cousins Jonah and Steven helping us open presents. We missed Caiden! Steven dressed up like Santa. He's so funny!

Emily got a new computer for Christmas. Mommy thinks this picture is funny...The Mac Snobs. :) Just kidding Emily and Danny. We love you!

We had a great Christmas! Happy New Year everyone! p.s. Don't worry Grandma, that's not a real pizza cutter :)
Thank you to the family members who helped us document our day. We used several of your pictures too!

7 months

Today we turn 7 months old. We have really grown and learned a lot in the last month. We are both learning how to crawl and we both sit up very well. Yesterday we went to the doctor and got our last round of shots for awhile. Mommy and Daddy were really proud of us. We both cried for a few minutes but that's it. Jack weighs 18 lbs. 14 oz. and is 27 inches long. Caleb weighs 17 lbs. and 4 oz. and is 25 inches long.
Mommy always puts us in the tub when we get home from the doctor to help the medicine from the shots go through our legs. She decided that since we are 7 months old now and we are very good at sitting up, she would let us take our first "big boy bath". We got to sit in the tub together without using our blue tub. It was so fun! We were a little wobbly, but we didn't fall over (even though Mommy kept jumping to catch us...she worries a lot).

Give Peas A Chance

Mommy has started giving us veggies at night along with our cereal. We've tried green beans, carrots, and peas. So far we like everything we've tried, but carrots are our favorite. In these pictures, we were trying peas.

This is my new silly face. I scrunch up my nose and close my eyes. :)

Our Christmas Tree

This is our Christmas tree. We thought Mommy and Daddy were crazy when they brought a tree in the house, but they said that's how it goes during Christmas time. We really like it. It's really sparkly and bright. We wish we could keep it all year.

These next 4 pictures Mommy thinks are so funny. She says they show our different personalities, Jack quietly looking around and taking everything in and Caleb liking all the attention and giving a big cheesy smile every picture.

Mommy says we are the 2 most beautiful children she's ever seen. :)

I (Caleb) didn't like nap time very much when I was younger. I only napped for 30 or 45 minutes at a time and it drove Mommy crazy! Now that I am getting older, I can take longer naps and I really like them. This is me in a deep sleep. I like to pull my bumper down and use it as a pillow.
