Practice Makes Perfect

Mommy has been trying to get our house organized, so she bought some Rubbermaid bins. We used them to practice walking. Mommy said if she had known how much we would like them, she would have bought us some for Christmas. :)

We like to be really close to the T.V. when we watch. It feels like we're there! Thank you Aunt Lisa and Uncle Mike for our Baby Faith movies. We love them!

Playing with Cars

Cars are some of our favorite toys right now. We love our police cars that make noise. I (Caleb) sometimes make my own car noises. Mommy thought at first I was being fussy when I was playing, but she realized I was just making the car sounds.

Roni Love

Daddy is my favorite person. Today I said "Daddy" and it made him pretty happy.

9 MONTHS!

Today we are 9 months old. Mommy and Daddy say they can't believe it! Someone asked Mommy how old we were at the store yesterday, and she said 8 months. We had to remind her that we're older than that. We are learning more everyday. We love to stand up and hold onto things. Jack is waving and Caleb has 4 teeth! We crawl very fast and it's fun to make Mommy chase us all day. :)

Strawberries

Mommy keeps giving us new foods to try. We don't know why...we are happy with our regular food. But we keep trying what she gives us. Sometimes we like it and sometimes we don't. Today we tried strawberries. Mommy said they are her favorite, but we did not like them.

Caleb Says "Mama"

Jack and I have been saying "dada" for a long time. I finally said "mama" when Grandma and Papa were here. It happens at the very beginning of this video, so watch carefully.

Mommy and Daddy rented Despicable Me when Grandma and Papa were here. Mommy fell asleep while they were watching, so she finished the movie the next day. We got to see the end and we loved the music! Here's a little clip of Jack's moves.

Grandma & Papa

This week Grandma and Papa came from Minnesota to visit us. It was so good to see them. They had not seen us since Thanksgiving, so we had a lot to show them. We've learned how to do a lot since then. They only got to stay for 4 days and it went by really fast! We were sad to see them go. We can't wait until we see them again!

Grandma and Papa rented a van so we could all go in one car when we went somewhere. Grandma and Mommy sat in the back so we could see them. It was weird.

Pulling Up

I decided it was time for me to start pulling up. Caleb has been doing it for a while but I was happy with just sitting and crawling. But I love to stand up and now Mommy and Daddy don't have to help me....well, they still have to help me get down but I'll get the hang of that eventually.

These next 2 pictures we stole from Mimi. Sorry, Mimi.
We spent the night with Mimi and Popi for the first time this week. We were such good boys. We slept the whole night, ate all our food, and took a good nap. Mommy and Daddy were so proud. We had a good time, but were glad to see them.

I've gotten 2 new teeth! My top ones popped in about a week ago. This time was a lot less dramatic than the first time. I didn't lose much sleep (and neither did Mommy).
